101 things in 1,001 days – 1 year update!

Yay! I’m so excited to be sharing my one year progress on my Day Zero project! 101 things in 1,001 days seems like a lot…even more so when I have one year gone! But I’m excited with what I am getting done and what I hope to accomplish over the next year. Before I get into the list, I want to talk about a few of things I learned in this first year of the project!

3 Lessons Learned

  1. Always pay attention for opportunities – A few of the items on my list were completed by me always being on the look-out for opportunities! I did have plans to complete them originally, but they would have taken more time and money to do so!
  2. Plan for the unexpected – You may get most of the way through an item on the list, a project you are working on and have something go wrong. Want a great (horrible) example? Check out #81!
  3. Keep a copy of the list handy – Your 101 Things list, your annual goals, whatever. Make sure you have the list easily available so you can check it and keep it fresh in your mind.

I can’t wait to see what year 2 teaches me! 🙂 And now, on to my updated list! (And make sure to check out your free download at the bottom of the post!)
