Meal Prep Staples

Hey all! After a few meal prep posts, I have realized that it makes more sense to have a post with links to and recipes of the foods that I make most weeks, than linking to the same recipes every Sunday. I will update this if we add anything to our regular rotation. Any picture that doesn’t have a recipe below it will be a link to the original recipe.

So without further ado, here are our favorite recipes!

Baked Asiago Chicken Tenders: I do include some seasonings in the breadcrumb mix, usually paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and whatever catches my eye

Sausage and Egg Breakfast Burritos: I use Italian turkey sausage in these. They are Boyfriend’s favorite breakfast!

The above recipe was the inspiration for the following breakfast burritos

These may not look like much, but they are our go-to breakfast burritos now! Mine are wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and smaller than Boyfriend’s burrito, but otherwise they are exactly the same.

Cookie Dough Protein Balls: These have been a favorite from the first time I made them! Boyfriend takes a couple with him every day for work. The one change I make to the original recipe is that I use chocolate protein powder instead of vanilla.

For Mason Jar Salads:

Mason Jar Tutorial: While I don’t use any specific recipe on this tutorial, this is the one I used when I started making these. I found it incredibly helpful! Now I make mason jar salads every week for to take to work for my lunch. These are three varieties of mason jar salads

Tuna Quinoa Cakes: I usually put half of one of these in a salad. You could easily use a whole one, or even break them up more. They are also really tasty other ways, such as putting in a sandwich with some greens, a fried egg and some sriracha! These ones were left over from the mason jar salads that week. The recipe makes 6.

The Shredded Buffalo Chicken in this salad is delicious and, while you will see it most often in our salads, can also be used in many other recipes
